Let’s gear up for peak hummingbird season with colorful blooms that attract our favorite little high-speed pollinators!
July through late September is peak hummingbird season! As these tiny high-speed pollinators migrate south for winter, your yard may be their last stop before flying over the Gulf into Central and South America!
Our expert instructors will lead you in creating a gorgeous patio container full of hummingbird favorites, including angelonia, lantana, vinca, zinnia, and many more! Here are a couple of arrangements for inspiration.
We will also feature wine from the hummingbird migratory regions of South America!
Each ticket includes:
🌱 All plants, soil, & containers
🌱 Professional instruction
🌱 Complimentary wine & non-alcoholic refreshments
🌱 Your finished planter to take home

Let’s plant your favorite chef’s favorite herb garden! Our wonderful instructors will lead you in a class to pick out your favorite herbs, plant a aromatic garden, and make the perfect seasoning blend for your meals at home!

Collier’s Nursery is teaming up with (small batch) for a Summer Cook Out. Join us on July 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for one of Birmingham’s best culinary experiences right here at Collier’s.
Here’s what we’ll be serving up:
☀️ Tomato Salad: $12 (Charred Corn, Cucumber, Herbs, Vinaigrette)
☀️ Ceviche: $12 (Cilantro, Lime, Plantain Chips)

Kooky Kokedamas

Come explore the traditional Japanese art of gardening called kokedama!
This Sip ‘n Soil is a little different and a whole new kind of fun! Join our experts and explore a new way to pot your houseplants!
Kokedama is a traditional Japanese potting method that translates to “moss ball.” We will guide you in creating an interesting moss-potted houseplant to set as a centerpiece on your table, a subtle hanger in your window, or a mounted piece for your gallery wall!
You’ll learn expert potting tips, meet fellow plant enthusiasts, and take home your own custom creation.

Join us for a special Sip ‘n Soil event at Collier’s Nursery. Spend an afternoon creating your own succulent planter while enjoying complimentary summer wine selections!
